Isuzu to launch operations in Andhra Pradesh by April 2016. Isuzu India Managing Director Mr. Takashi Kikuchi met CBN today and informed him that the company will manufacture pick-up trucks at the manufacturing facility in Sri City and that it would start operations by April 2016. Isuzu had set up the facility with an initial investment of Rs. 1500 Crore. The facility will provide nearly 1,500 to 2,000 jobs to locals. Mr. Takashi Kikuchi also informed CBN that nearly 75 suppliers are keen to invest in Andhra Pradesh. CBN briefed them that he wants to make Nellore-Chennai-Tirupati the automobile hub on the lines of Tokyo-Kawasaki-Yokohama trio cities.
